Suzhou is now facing another round of competition in sales of cars and auto parts. With consumers from east China, you’ve got mostconsumers in China. That has become the current fact to increase sale volume of cars and auto parts. With global manufacturing basis for a variety of products and its booming economy, Suzhou has become the economic hub and consumtion market in east part of China.Suzhou, one of the fastest-growing cities in terms of economy,
locates in the central part of Yangtze River delta region and ranks 4th in terms of GDP, just after Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. Its convenient transportation system, including highways and railroads, makes the market within it possible to influence the surrounding areas, such as the south and north part of Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province, Shanghai etc.
With the booming of Chinese economy and fast shift of global capital, Suzhou is already the most important basis for production and manufacturing in the world. Over 200 of the world top 500 enterprises have set up their plants so far in Suzhou.
The year of 2006 saw the increase of 15.5% and 26.3% in gross value of regional production and industry respectively, compared with that of the year 2005. The gross value for regional production and industry of Suzhou last year reached RMB482.03 billion and $174.26 billion. The increased registered foreign capital reached $15.96 billion. 113 of the world top 500 enterprises have invested in Suzhou. More than 1200 enterprises in Suzhou, including Volkswagen and Dongfeng, are in the line with auto and its parts. Production value of the auto and auto parts industry reached RMB19.43 billion, increasing by 37.3% compared with the previous year. Suzhou New District, one of the two-wings in the development of Suzhou, is devoted to striving for an important area of auto industry, a combination of research and development, production, sale, maintenance and exhibition. Years from 2004 to 2006 has seen three successive exhibitions in Suzhou New District, namely, International Auto Exhibition of Chinese Eastern Part (Suzhou) and National Convention of Auto and Auto Parts Suppliers. To promote and develop the auto and auto parts industry and attract more manufacturing companies in Suzhou , we shall hold the fourth East China (Suzhou) International Auto and Auto Parts Show so as to set up a bridge for the supplies and buyers of auto and auto parts.
This exhibition, which is to be opened from September 29th to October 4th in Suzhou Gaoxin International Auto Plaza, is held jointly by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, The Economic and Trade Commission of Jiangsu Province , Suzhou Municipal Government and Chongqing Automobile Research Center. This exhibition involves auto exposition and auto parts exposition. We warmly welcome you from all walks of life to visit the exhibition.
